Detect whether a power setting is currently set to put the computer to sleep

I always forget to disable my power settings. It'd be great if the program could bypass the automatic go to sleep or communicate somehow that the computer actually is active while the conversion is happening (stupid Windows). If it runs afoul of UAC or antivirus, then at least detect the current setting and ask us to disable sleep mode before converting.
